Premium Ranunculus Italian Fablio are known as the best breeding in Ranunculus. Selectively bred for many years, this range has blooms up to 3 if not 4 times the size of the Florentine Ranunculus series.

The Fablio variety are highly sort after cut flower due to their strong, double blooms and as they are a newly bred variety they are harder to come by then others.

Ranunculus are a hardy, easy to grow bulb that will give you a masses of colour from early Spring. These stunning cut flower bred ranunculus range from very full doubles to slightly semi double. Will grow too 50cm.

Prior to planting the Ranunculus corms soil should be prepped with nutrient rich compost, and should be well draining.

The Ranunculus corms should be soaked in water for around 2-4 hours, until swollen.

They need to be planted in a full sun to part shade area with very well draining soil.

Plant the corms 15cm apart and 2cm deep with the claws facing down.

Keep the soil moist, but not wet until the seedling emerges.

Ranunculus do not need to be lifted from the ground at the end of the season, but if you do want to divide your ranunculus they will need to be harvested in early Summer and stored in a cool, dry area until Autumn.
