When: Spring + Autumn
Sewing Depth + Method: Direct seed (recommended) - 6mm deep (darkness is required for germination) in early spring for summer bloom or in autumn for bloom the following year. Seeds do not germinate well when soil temperatures are above 13°C. If growing transplants then sow in punnets 5-7 weeks before planting out. Grow in 13°C until ready to plant outside. Larkspur performs best where summers are cool.
