Common Name: Passionfruit Passiflora herbertiana 

Scientific Name: Passiflora herbertiana

Life Cycle:  Evergreen

Remarks: A rare passion fruit native to Australia. Fruits are green-skinned, white fleshed, with an unknown edible rating. Some sources list the fruit as edible, sweet and tasty, while others list the fruits as being bitter and inedible.

Fast-growing vine, preferring subtropical, moist conditions, though it seems to grow quite well in slightly more arid climates. Flower occurs in spring, followed by fruits ripening 3-4 months later.

Plant Height: 3m

When To Sow: Spring + Autumn is best, but can sow all year round.

Xmas Cut Off: All orders must be in before the 11th December

  • Orders are sent weekly on a Wednesday morning, as they require a quarantine inspection on arrival.
  • Order cut off is midnight Tuesday night.
  • Please note not all seeds can be sent to WA. Seeds that cannot be sent are marked on the thumbnail or below the price on the product page. These seeds are NOT permitted to WA.
  • Orders that contain large items like hanging herb dryer, trugs and large books may be split and seeds sent separately to the accessories.
  • Unfortunately we don't offer Express Post to WA as the parcels are sent weekly and defeats the purpose of Express post. You can however choose parcel post.

Letter Post: $5 (No Tracking) we do not offer free letter post to WA due to quarantine inspection fees.
