Common Name: Pine Leaved Western Rose, Yanchep Rose

Scientific Name: Diplolaena angustifolia

Life Cycle: Perennial 

Remarks: Small evergreen shrub, with red pendant flowers that bloom from July - Nov. Planting Native trees in your backyard increases the biodiversity of native birds and wildlife. 

Plant Height: 1.5m

When: Spring + Autumn is best but can be sown all year round. 

Sowing Depth + Method: Soak in water overnight. 5mm deep, raise seedlings - a smoke treatment once planted may help germination.

Position: Full Sun 

Days until germination: some native seeds may be slow to germinate, so be patient!
