Common Name: Quandong Blue, also known as Blue Marble Tree, Native peach or Desert Peach.
Scientific Name: Elaeocarpus grandis (angustifolius)
Remarks: Fast growing tree, which can reach up to 5 meters in just a few years. The plant produces bright edible fruits that are very high in vitamin C. Grows best in subtropical areas but can tolerate some frost.
Traditionally Indigenous Australians people used the quandong's for medicinal properties.
