Common Name: Zinnia Oklahoma Carmine

Scientific Name: Zinnia Elegans 

Life Cycle: Annual 

Remarks: Bright violet colour with low susceptibility to powdery mildew.

Blooms are 2.5 - 4.5cm, double and semidouble.
These petite, yet sturdy blooms make excellent, reliable flowers for market bouquets, wedding flowers, and event work.

Cut-and-come-again flower, yielding multiple cuts over the season.

Please note, the flowers will fade to a lighter pastel salmon overtime.

Type Of Seed: Open pollinated, a non-hybrid type of seed that can reproduce itself to have similar traits the parent plant from one generation to the next. If you are saving the seeds, as long as pollen is not shared between two varieties of the same species, the seeds should remain true to type year after year.


Plant Height: 70-100 cm

When: Spring to Summer

Sowing Depth + Method: 6mm deep, raise seedlings or direct sow.

Do not allow plants to become root-bound and avoid disturbing roots; transplant shock or other stress events may cause double-flowering varieties to produce single blooms for a period following stress.
