Common Name: Zinnia Benary's Giant Lilac Flower

Scientific Name: Zinnia Elegans

Life Cycle: Annual 

Remarks: Starting off a bright lilac purple and fade to a softer lilac blooms, up to 15cm wide. 

Type Of Seed: Open pollinated, a non-hybrid type of seed that can reproduce itself to have similar traits the parent plant from one generation to the next. If you are saving the seeds, as long as pollen is not shared between two varieties of the same species, the seeds should remain true to type year after year.

Plant Height: 60cm

When: Spring to Summer

Sowing Depth + Method: 6mm deep, raise seedlings or direct sow.

Do not allow plants to become root bound and avoid disturbing roots; transplant shock or other stress events may cause double-flowering varieties to produce single blooms for a period following stress.
