Common Name: Sweet Pea Turquoise Lagoon

Scientific Name: Lathyrus x hammettii, Lathyrus Odoratus x Lathyrus Belinensis

Life Cycle: Annual

Remarks: Flowers start off a soft rose and shift to an unreal turquoise colour as the flower ages, or when cut and put in a vase. They have a strong beautiful sweet pea scent.

This variety was bred by the wonderful Dr Keith Hammett in New Zealand 2012. Dr Keith Hammett developed this new 'shifting' variety by crossing Lathyrus odoratus with another species of sweet pea, Lathyrus belinesis.

Grown, hand harvested and packed by us!

A semi-dwarf climber, climbing to around 1.5m.
