Common Name: Sea Urchin Hakea 

Scientific Name: Hakea petiolaris

Remarks: Endemic to Western Australia.

Hakea petiolaris is an erect shrub to small tree reaching 2-9m high.

Its pale grey-green leaves are obovate, ranging from 5-15cm long and 2.3-6cm wide. Globular flower clusters appear during late autumn and early winter.
