Common Name: Campanula Champion Lavender - pelleted seeds, known as Bellflower or Canterbury bells.

Scientific Name: Campanula medium

* PLEASE NOTE: Pelleted seeds can only sent by parcel post or express, not by letter as the pelleted seeds may crush the letter mail.

Life Cycle: Annual

Remarks: Pale lavender bell flowers. Champion series have been breed for upright blooms. Plants will produce flowers in the first year if started early enough. Most other campanula are biennials.

Plant Height: 70-100cm

When: Start the seeds in Autumn, Winter or Early Spring. If sown in Autumn they can overwinter in an unheated tunnel, daylight sensitive plants require shorter days in the seedling stage to ensure stem length and vegetative growth before flowering under long days.

Sowing Depth + Method: Raise as seedlings, light is required for germination so cover lightly.

Spacing: 30cm

Position: Full Sun

Days until germination: 7-14 days @ 18-20 degrees

Seed to Bloom: 120-150 days

Harvest: When 2-3 flowers have opened at the bottom of the stem.

Number of Seeds: 20 pelleted seeds, the seeds are pelleted as they are extremely tiny! Pelleting seeds shortens the shelf life of the seeds, we recommend using the seed within a year.

Note: WA orders are sent weekly as they require quarantine inspections on arrival to WA
