Our seeds are all germination tested, with most seeds having around an 80% germination rate.

Your germination rates will depend on lots of environmental factors.

We mostly recommend raising seedlings over direct sowing.

Please note your flowers won’t always look the exactly same as our flowers in our photos, they can be different colours, shade’s and forms and that’s what makes nature so wonderful!

How To Grow Nigella From Seed

Nigella, also known as 'Love in a mist'. There is something romantic about nigella, perhaps the name helps but they remind me of little stars in the night. Nigella has the softest of fern like foliage and if left forms beautiful seed pods that can be dried.
