Common Name: Regal Birdflower
Scientific Name: Crotalaria cunninghamii
Life Cycle: Perennial
Remarks: Native to central Australia. Small shrub to about 3 meters. Produces flowers that are green with black lines and resemble a humming bird, flowering winter to spring. Will grow well in temperate to hot climates.
Plant Height: 1.5 - 3 meters
Season: Spring + Autumn is best, but can be sown all year round.
Sowing Depth + Method: Soak overnight in boiling water, seed will be ready to sow once swollen. Soaking helps break down the hard outer seed coating. Then sow 5mm deep.
Soil Temperature: 18-21 degrees
Spacing: 5 meters
Position: Full Sun.
Days until Germination: 10 - 48 days, please do not discard seeds too early. Some may take longer to germinate. Native seeds may just be waiting for the right conditions to germinate.

Please Note:
- Orders are sent weekly on a Wednesday morning, as they require a quarantine inspection on arrival.
- Order cut off is midnight Tuesday night as long as payment is finalised. Sometimes paypal payments can take 24-48hrs to go through. This is rare. If this is the case the order will go into the following week's dispatch.
- Please note not all seeds can be sent to WA. Seeds that cannot be sent are marked on the thumbnail or below the price on the product page. These seeds are NOT permitted to WA.
- Unfortunately due the way our orders get to WA Quarantine we cannot send large items like accessories, books etc.
- Unfortunately we don't offer Express Post to WA as the parcels are sent weekly and defeats the purpose of Express post. You can however choose parcel post.
