Common Name: Western Australia Christmas Tree
Scientific Name: Nuytsia floribunda
Life Cycle: Evergreen
Remarks: This slow growing tree produces masses of yellow-orange around Christmas time, giving the tree a glowing appearance. This tree is semi parasitic, meaning it take nutrients from surrounding plants but doesn't kill them. It will need to planted near some companion plants such as Kangaroo paw.
Flowers in November and December.
Endemic to Western Australia.

When: Spring + Autumn is best, but can sow all year round.
Sowing Depth + Method: Soak overnight, 5mm deep, raise seedlings.

Position: Full Sun
