Common Name: Scabiosa Fama White

Scientific Name: Scabiosa caucasica - please note some varieties of scabiosa are considered a weed in SA

Life Cycle: Perennial 

Remarks: First year flowering. Large white scabiosa flowers that have a beautiful frilly edge and strong wiry stems. Easy to grow and winter hardy. May need support netting.

Type Of Seed: Open pollinated, a non-hybrid type of seed that can reproduce itself to have similar traits to the parent plant from one generation to the next. If you are saving the seeds, as long as pollen is not shared between two varieties of the same species, the seeds should remain true to type year after year.
