Scientific Name: Callistephus chinesis
Life Cycle: Annual
Remarks: Very large and double incurved flowers on upright plants with 5 to 8 floral stems. Medium to late flowering Aster. Mixed colours include blue, white, coral-rose, crimson, dark blue, pale pink, rose, scarlet, yellow and apricot.
Heavy flowers, may need support.
Type Of Seed: Open pollinated, a non-hybrid type of seed that can reproduce itself to have similar traits the parent plant from one generation to the next. If you are saving the seeds, as long as pollen is not shared between two varieties of the same species, the seeds should remain true to type year after year.
