Remarks: New! Long-lasting perennial in mostly red, rose, and lavender shades. Makes excellent cut flowers and reliable perennial garden plants with decorative, fern-like foliage. As cut flowers, the 5-10cm, flat-topped flower heads on 60cm stems add bulk, durability, and beauty to bouquets. Long vase life. When dried, the colour is retained. Flowers first year from seed. Low maintenance. Tolerates drought, once established. Attracts beneficial insects.

When: Late Spring, early Summer + Autumn
Sewing Depth + Method: Transplant (recommended): Sow 8-10 weeks before last frost. Do not cover seed as light is required for germination. Bottom water or mist lightly to avoid covering the seed with displaced soil. Direct seed: Sow seed in late spring, after late frost, early summer, or Autumn. Support may be necessary.

Harvest: Fresh: Harvest when pollen is visible on the flowers. Cut in the coolest part of the day.
